Pelvic Health has been Andrea’s primary area of interest and expertise since 2010, when she became aware that several of her friends were struggling with pelvic pain and incontinence. She holds degrees in both Physical Therapy and in Kinesiology, and holds a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. Andrea is authorized to provide Pelvic Health services by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Andrea is a skilled, compassionate physiotherapist. She provides care for men and women looking to gain an understanding of how their pelvic health concerns can be managed through a rehabilitation approach. She is experienced in treating common issues including stress incontinence, pelvic pain, men’s health issues, and prenatal/postpartum rehabilitation. Many find these personal issues difficult to talk about and greatly appreciate Andrea’s warm, supportive and non-judgmental approach.
Having evolved her practice as new science emerges, Andrea is thrilled to be a part of the integrated team at PHYSELITE. She sees the team of performance coaches, trainers and clinicians as essential to the holistic development of athletes of all levels. Andrea understands the critical role of Pelvic Health in helping athletes to feel confident in their core function while remaining active. She enjoys designing customized rehab programs that empower clients to make positive changes - and fully engage in life.
